I too struggled with sleep (insomnia in particular) for quite some time and I did not know what to do. Having a successful, yet demanding corporate marketing career meant also dealing with short deadlines, workload issues and stress (of course!).
It wasn’t until I discovered therapy and hypnotherapy in particular, that I started seeing the light (or better yet, dark, as I was getting sleep finally!). As part of my own journey with therapy, I learned more and more about CBT-i (cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia), mindfulness and hypnosis. I was captivated!
Because I was putting into action all I learned, I was feeling in control, enjoyed more energy during the day and my overall performance improved drastically.
So I decided to help others improve their sleep. I retrained as a therapist and decided to start my own practice to help women (like me) better manage stress, sleep better and find joy in their lives once more. For the last few years, I’ve helped many clients reconnect with their sleep, have more energy and enjoy their lives. Let me help you too!
I’m Denise, a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist specialising in sleep and stress related problems.

The basis of the Programme is a combination of CBT-i (cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia), mindfulness, ACT (acceptance commitment therapy) and hypnotherapy. These approaches are combined so that you can get the best out of them and improve your sleep.
The Programme provides you with all resources you will need to start taking action as soon as you join and keep track of your progress.
Each week in the Programme you have the chance to discuss and address your specific needs and goals with a certified therapist, in a private setting.
Outside of the weekly therapy sessions, you have the chance to get even more direct support from me to help keep you on track during the programme.
Learn to fall asleep easily and sleep through the night, without having to rely on other external factors (such as medication, supplements, etc.).
During each module, various resources will be provided to help you put the learnings into practice. The more you practice, the better / easier it gets.

We’ll review the impact of poor sleep and stress on work and daily life and you will set up your personal goals for the programme.
You’ll also learn about the importance of sleep hygiene and start taking intentional actions to improve your sleep.
In this module, you’ll discover the importance of winding down before bed and creating a personalised calming bedtime routine.
We’ll review your habits and find ways to ensure your unhelpful habits are starting to be replaced with helpful ones. You’ll identify and start addressing the underlying causes of your poor sleep / insomnia.
You’ll learn techniques for relaxation and winding down before bed and you’ll start creating your own personalised bedtime routine. You’ll be provided with tips for creating a comfortable and conducive sleep environment.
In this module, you’ll learn how stress and anxiety can impact your sleep and discover techniques to manage them effectively. You’ll also uncover the physical and emotional effects of stress.
You’ll learn how to identify personal triggers that can keep you up at night and learn different stress management strategies to cope with them.
You’ll develop a stress and anxiety management plan for daily life.
In this final module, you’ll learn how to maintain healthy sleep habits for the long term. We’ll also review the key takeaways from the previous weeks.
You’ll learn about the benefits of regular exercise, healthy eating, and how to calm your racing mind. You’ll also learn about the importance of consistency and how to maintain your healthy habits that will serve you for a lifetime.
You’ll receive personalised tips for maintaining progress and staying on track.
You’ll have the chance to attend a final 1:1 session on how to continue to improve sleep and reduce stress.
Throughout the 4-week Sleep Better. Perform Better programme, you’ll have access to individual sessions with myself, a certified therapist to help you apply the lessons to your specific situation and provide personalised support and guidance.

Sleep Better. Perform Better is for women who want to improve their sleep (including overcoming insomnia) and have more energy so that they perform at their best at work and in life.
You can go at your own pace. You’ll also get lifetime access so you can start slow, or go fast; it’s your call. There are also several wins you can get even in the first week, so if you log in and watch, you’re already ahead of the crowd.
Once the first module is released, you will get asked to book in your 4 individual 1:1 sessions. You can choose from a number of available slots to suit your needs and these can be rescheduled as needed.
As long as you provide me with 48 hours notice, all sessions can be rescheduled. I know diaries get busy easily so there would be no problem to adjust. If you do not show up for our 1:1, I’m afraid that session will be lost.
One you sign up, you’ll gain access to the programme platform and your pre-start work. After that you’ll receive one module per week until the completion of the programme. All worksheets, handouts and bonuses will be released on a similar schedule.
